We are happy to announce that we have launched a playground at Hope House Children's Home.
Located in Mountain View, Nairobi, Hope House is a home for abandoned babies, from newborn to three years old. The babies have either been given up for adoption or have been found abandoned, often in dreadful situations such as on a vegetable stall, in a field or a pit latrine. They are cared for at the home until they can be reunited with family members or adopted into loving Kenyan families. Hope House has a nice garden for the children to play in, but lacked good outdoor equipment.
Nancy always said, “Children must play!” and with your help, we have ensured that children of Hope House have access to safe child friendly amenities.
