We are happy to announce that we have launched a playground for a community based organization (CBO) known as Kasarani Young Mothers, whose members and activities are based in Kasarani area, Nairobi. It's mission is to promote women and youth social economic empowerment through farming, art, girls’ education and leadership mentorship.
Nancy Ellen Crooks' accomplishments in improving the lives of women and children in Kenya motivated us to take up this project... and it's a success! Not only will the playground serve as a safe place for children in Kasarani to play, it will also serve as a source of income for Kasarani Young Mothers CBO as each child will be charged KES10 for an unlimited play time.
